ICYMI: CASA In Action Turned Out Critical Voters to Propel Warnock to Victory, Send Mandate to Congress: Deliver Protections for Dreamers and Immigrant Families

Casa in Action Reached Out to 59,850 Voters Through Calls, Texts, And Knocks; Including Contacting More Than 36,000 Unique Voters At Their Doors

WASHINGTON, DC - CASA in Action led a successful voter mobilization campaign among Black, Latino, immigrant, and working class communities in Georgia to help propel Rev. Raphael Warnock to victory over Herschel Walker in his runoff election for the U.S. Senate on Tuesday. CASA’s efforts on the ground, which included a combined approach of canvassing, phone banking, and digital and radio ads, are just another example of rejecting anti-immigrant extremism and supporting a candidate who is willing to fight for protections for Dreamers and immigrant workers in America. This is another victory in a series of battleground races where critical voters, including Latinos, continue to signal to elected leaders that it is time to deliver immigration solutions that will empower local economies and communities.

CASA  in Action knocked on more than 36,000 doors; placed more than 50,000 calls via phone bank; delivered over 25,000 text messages; distributed upwards of 22,000 mailers and pieces of door literature; delivered more than 8 million digital ad impressions, and reached nearly 150,000 Spanish-speaking voters through radio ads. And with CASA in Action talking about key issues affecting Georgians, including immigration reform, support for Rev. Warnock improved in four key counties from the general election: Fulton: +4%, DeKalb: +3%, Henry: +5%, and Clayton: +2%.

On the last Saturday before the runoff election, CASA in Action also hosted Rep. Pramila Jayapal for a canvass kickoff event that stressed the importance of victory in this race as well as the field team’s contributions to democracy.
