Applications Open Monday for Biden-Harris Plan to Keep Families Together
As Trump continues to fearmonger on immigration, President Biden and Vice President Harris remain committed to safety and stability for all American families
Washington, D.C. – Today the Biden-Harris administration issued application guidance on their popular executive order aimed at providing relief to undocumented spouses and children of U.S. citizens. Individuals can begin the process of keeping their families together starting on Monday, August 19th.
“Thanks to the Biden-Harris administration, hundreds of thousands of individuals will no longer live in fear of separation,” said Kerri Talbot, Executive Director of the Immigration Hub. “As Donald Trump and other GOP extremists continue to lead an ugly crusade toward villainizing immigrants and separating hardworking families in 2025, we celebrate this immense victory that serves as a stark contrast and reminder that Vice President Harris is committed to fighting for families. We look forward to seeing this program expanded to keep even more families together.”
The executive order, that 59% of battleground voters (73% among Hispanic voters) support, will ensure that long-settled immigrants can continue living and working in their communities.
