Joshua Rodriguez

Manager of Federal Advocacy and Policy

Joshua Rodriguez is the Immigration Hub’s Manager of Federal Advocacy and Policy. In this role, he is responsible for building and strengthening relationships with bipartisan Congressional offices, providing input on bill introductions, drafting vote recommendations, and providing talking points to Members of Congress. Additionally, he works to bolster partnership and community with like-minded organizations to continue the push to secure protections for immigrants. 

Prior to joining the Immigration Hub, Joshua spent time at the Migration Policy Institute, Bipartisan Policy Center, Niskanen Center, and National Immigration Forum conducting research and advocating on a variety of issues such as humanitarian protection, border and asylum reforms, immigration enforcement, and immigrant integration. His work has been cited by publications such as the Congressional Research Service, Newsweek, Business Insider, and CBS News. He holds a MA in International Affairs from George Washington University and a BA in Political Science from the University of Southern California. Born and raised in Orange County, California, Joshua is an ardent Real Madrid and USC football fan, novice darts player, and can often be found watching home improvement videos.
