House Advances More Funding for Trump’s Deportation Machine

11 MARCH 2025

Despite claims that the bill is “clean,” it opens the door for expanded detention, deportations, and unchecked enforcement—giving Trump even more power to terrorize immigrant communities.

Washington, D.C. – Today, the House passed a Continuing Resolution that funnels millions more into Trump’s mass deportation machine, compounding the $350 billion slush fund he is demanding through reconciliation.

Statement from Kerri Talbot, Co-Executive Director of the Immigration Hub:

“This Continuing Resolution isn’t just about keeping the government running—it’s about quietly advancing Trump’s mass deportation agenda. The House just handed him more resources to tear families apart, erode humanitarian protections, and continue chipping away at democracy by targeting immigrants and dissenters alike. The Senate must reject this cruelty and stop writing blank checks for Trump’s authoritarian agenda before it’s too late.”
